About the Club

HISTORY

The Swansea Aircooled Club is a FREE Volkswagen enthusiasts club which was set up to help bring together people with one thing in common - the love of Volkswagens.

Although we’re called an Air-cooled club, Water-cooled V-dubs are welcome too. Member’s vehicles include Beetles (proper ones and new ones), Splitties, Bay’s, Karmann Ghia's, Beach Buggies, T3’s, T4’s, Golf’s and Scirocco's.

The Swansea Aircooled Club is a family orientated club and has members ranging from new born babies to the young at heart. Members don’t just come from Swansea and its surrounding areas either, people have joined from all over the country.

Since the club's birth in the summer of 2000, many new friendships have been formed and the club has grown steadily. Each new member brings something new into the club, be it technical knowledge, that missing part that you've been looking or just good humour, there's something for everyone!
